The architect Oscar Gonzalez Moix faced the challenge of creating the image for the new restaurant located in the district of San Borja, south of Lima. “We could sin, without losing the warmth that characterizes the original place” says the architect.

The land is surrounded by very high walls, so the space had to be contained with high concrete walls as well. To do this, we used as reference the walls of the Ollantaytambo temple, Inca town located in southern Peru.

Among these great walls, a bucolic space is composed where the first hall is located, above which, gently rests a glazed box covered with weathering steel, which contains the second room.

From the street, you may sense a special feeling when going through these large beams that direct you to a patio. The election of noble materials creates a cozy atmosphere.

At the end of the place you can find the service area, kitchen, bathrooms, offices, cold rooms, and pantry. Also, there is a waiters’s institute located in the last level.
