受澳大利亚景观和海景启发,扎哈哈德建筑师设计了澳大利亚墨尔本市的mayfair住宅塔。标志性的扎哈哈德风格与现场位置相结合,使得建筑师能够创建一个流体形式的立面,同时集成了清洁的阳台,弥合了内部和外部空间之间的差距。

该建筑物靠近皇家植物园,菲利普港湾和阿尔伯特公园,创造出平衡自然景观和城市发展要素的全景。“外观的构成从简单的波浪形成系统演变而来,进一步发展到生成相同设计语言的变量,“建筑师描述”。使用算法来确定这些变量可以使外观适应各种不同的公寓布局,并适应不规则的场所。

zaha hadid建筑师在仔细研究该站点并确定建筑物的建筑几何结构后,使用优化算法来识别外墙的形状相似性。这个过程导致了更加成本有效的措施,通过最小化不同外墙面板的数量来实现所需的复杂设计。内部包含158个私人住宅和社区设施,如屋顶座位,休息区和游泳池。一楼不仅包含大厅,还包含一个公共餐厅 - 咖啡馆的双高空间。完全融入墨尔本景观,该设计为全球最适宜居住城市之一的城市日益成功增加了另一个要素。

zaha hadid architects, inspired by the australian landscape and seascape, has designed the mayfair residential tower for the city of melbourne, australia. the iconic zaha hadid style combined with the location of the site, has enabled the architects to create a fluid form facade while simultaneously integrating sweeping balconies that bridge the gap between interior and exterior spaces. 

the building’s close proximity to the royal botanic garden, port phillip bay, and albert park create sweeping views that balance elements of the natural landscapes and urban development._‘the façade’s composition has evolved from a system of simple wave formations that is further developed to generate variables of the same design language,’_ the architects describe. _‘using algorithms to determine these variables enables the façade to adapt to the wide variety of different apartment layouts and also adapt to the irregular site.’_

after studying the site closely and determining the architectural geometries of the building, zaha hadid architects used an optimizing algorithm to identify shape similarities in the façade. this process lead to more cost effective measures to achieve the desired, complex design by minimizing the number of different façade panels. the interior contains 158 private residences and community amenities such as rooftop seating, lounge areas, and swimming pools. the ground floor not only contains the lobby, but also double-height spaces for a public restaurant-café. fully integrated into the melbourne landscape, the design adds another element to the city’s growing success as one of the world’s most livable cities.
